How it works
Contacting a professional organizer is the first step in gaining control of your space and
time. We start with a phone or email consultation that lasts about 30 minutes. Then, if
we both agree to work together, an on-site Assessment is set up. The Assessment lasts
about two to three hours and includes a thorough review of your needs, resources and
expectations. Together we create your organized vision. You will be given a detailed
organizing plan that outlines the steps you need to take to realize your vision. At that
point you may do the work yourself, get someone else to help you, or hire me to help
you stay on task, do it faster, and complete your plan using my expertise and knowledge.
The services of any professional organizer are more than just "cleaning" or
"straightening". A professional organizer is an individual trained in recognizing the
unique needs of individuals in many situations of disorganization. My organizer's toolbox
includes tips and resources for a variety of unique needs, showing ways to stay
organized, and an honest and non-judgmental way of working with my clients. Together
we create ways to regain control over your organizing challenges. Remember that it is
almost always cheaper to hire an organizer to do it right, than to rent a storage unit for
your things!
I work within the NAPO - Sacramento Organizers Chapter so if I am unable to help you
with your project, I will provide you with names of other organizers who can.
